[NL] Storage maintenance VMware private cloud and shared storage services
Dear LeaseWeb customer,
As part of our commitment to continuously improve the level of service we provide, we would like to inform you about the upcoming maintenance. Please find below answers to questions you may have about the work.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
On the 6th of July 2018, starting at 23:00 & ending on the 7th of July 2018 at 3:00 (CEST), LeaseWeb will perform scheduled maintenance on the storage array used for our VMware private cloud customers and customers who are using our shared storage services in The Netherlands.
WHY ARE YOU PERFORMING THIS MAINTENANCE?
LeaseWeb is committed to providing you with the best possible service and, to do so, we need to keep our systems up to date.
WHEN EXACTLY WILL MY SERVICE BE IMPACTED?
The expected maintenance window for the storage services will be 4 hours in which customers using CIFS services will be interrupted during a required failover as part of the upgrade process. Customers who are using our CIFS services have been informed directly. Customers using iSCSI will notice one of the paths going offline during the upgrade but everything will remain online and reachable when multi-path is configured. All other storage services will remain online and reachable. LeaseWeb engineers will be available during and after the maintenance in case any issues should arise.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding this maintenance, our engineers are available at firstname.lastname@example.org.
