[NL, US] Connectivity issues in part of our network [Update]

[FINAL UPDATE]

The faulty links have been fixed and are fully operational again. Traffic is currently going over the best path again.

[UPDATE 01:15 UTC]

Traffic has been re-routed to accommodate the topology change caused by the aforementioned maintenance. No connectivity issues are present at this time but you might experience higher latency as a result of the less optimal path.

Once the faulty links are operational, we will restore traffic over the best available path. Further updates will be provided via this NOC post.

[UPDATE 01:00 UTC]

The issue is caused by a major emergency maintenance performed on under sea cables by multiple carriers. Effective capacity between US and EU is drastically reduced at this time. We are working on re-routing traffic to mitigate the impact.

Dear Leaseweb customer,

We are currently experiencing connectivity issues between US and Europe. You may experience high latency or packet loss between hosts on the two continents.

Our engineers are working on this issue with the highest priority.

We will update you again as soon as we have more information.

Sincerely, LeaseWeb http://www.leasewebnoc.com Data center naming system is explained here: http://www.leaseweb.com/en/about-us/data-centers
